Overview: San Pedro Hospital of Davao City, Inc. is a non-stock, non-profit, and esteemed training institution dedicated to the compassionate care of the sick and the underserved. The hospital is owned and managed by the Dominican Sisters of the Trinity, Inc. It operates under the leadership of a ten-member Board of Trustees, with the Administrator serving as both the President of the Corporation and the overall head of operations.

History: Founded in 1948, San Pedro Hospital began as a modest 10-bed facility located on San Pedro Street, Davao City, from which it derived its name. In 1950, a new hospital was constructed on Sta. Ana Street, increasing its capacity to 50 beds. Over the years, several expansions followed:

• • 1954: A new wing was added, raising the bed capacity to 100.
  • 1964-1969: A 4-storey building was constructed, expanding capacity to 350 beds and inaugurated on February 11, 1969.
  • 2002-2004: An Annex Building was built, adding private rooms, department offices, conference rooms, and an ICU/CCU/PICU complex.
  • 2012-2013: A 5-storey building housing a laboratory complex, physicians’ clinics, and function rooms was completed and inaugurated on August 20, 2013.
  • 2014-2018: The 4-storey carpark building was built. This was blessed in June 29, 2018

Currently, San Pedro Hospital has 250 beds and 20 bassinets, providing advanced healthcare services to the community.
